Memoir of a Nerd by Hank Mancini
Synopsis: Independently published memoir of an everyday business professional reminiscencing on good times.
Writing Style: Plain. Sincere. Pleasant. Straightforward.
Pacing: FAST!!! Super Fast.
Personal Highlights: Let’s be clear. I search high and low for just this type book! Very glad I found it! Was as easy on the eyes, as the spirit.
Favorites? “I Did It” (Ha!) The Uncle Leo description (haha). The way he explains things… to people under 30 (hahaha). “Babies look alike…” (shaking my head)… That blue towel. ‘Mailing May’ (a book I must now check out). The archaic mail system…who knew? Wasn’t born in the 40’s or 50’s but 60’s is close enough to find these stories fun, funny and relatable. AGAIN! I love, Love, LOVED this book!!!!
The pranks… before online dating… ‘old’ America’s housing costs… ‘Goliath’… and “of course, we fix lamps!” (laughing out loud). Just clean, lovely amusing memories. A quite vivid visual of simple times. Thumbs up to ‘the Key to My Success’. And…UGH… point taken on ‘The Art of Negotiation’. Overall, AWESOME. A MUST. Read copyright 2022 soft-copy edition. Highly recommended.
