When You Look Like Your Passport Photo, It's Time To Go Home by Erma Bombeck

Synopsis:
 Celebrated Humorist Travel Memoir

Writing Style: Humor! Satire Galore.

Pacing: SUPER FAST!!!

Personal Highlights: This memoir contains many pluses. The writing, in and of itself, is a delight. The pacing, the short chapters, its organization, plus the sheer volume of humorous insight and knowledge to glean makes for an incredibly enjoyable reading experience. I haven't read anything as funny and informative all rolled in one, in quite a while. I LAUGHED ALL NIGHT!!!

Personal favorites; The traumatizing drives in Ireland and Italy. Camping with children. Touring (internationally) with groups (or in those group packages). Tipping in America vs elsewhere. Taking a cruise...for romance. Shopping from Turkish carpet-sellers, or in Hong Kong. Flying for peanuts. Airline food; "never eat anything that blinks first." Describing the theater event in Indonesia. And this one. In One Word. ALASKA. Just on and on and on, to the exculpatory "please note" appendage...I cried laughing!!! Simply delightful writing. Highly recommended.
