Being a big fan of her starring role in the movies Sounder, Roots, and the Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman made the nuggets she shared about how those films came to be, a genuine treat. I also respected the historical vignettes shared about the film industry in general. Overall, Ms. Tyson's story depicts a true trailblazer who really enjoyed her life and work; indeed reflected on the big screen. Just marvelous!
