Easy Like Sunday Mourning by Jennie Marts
The Good. The imaginary quality of this story was really good. I could almost see the author pecking out this whodunnit; pen clenched between teeth and one steaming cup of coffee off to the side of the keyboard as she squirmed in a chair, unconcerned about what did and didn’t make sense, just too thrilled about pulling all the pieces together.
The Mmeh Okay. The character names. Unique names might’ve helped give the characters more character…
… though here’s the thing… The Best Part. I may have not remembered who was who, but these characters were absolutely hilarious. Quite a few times I let out that unexpected laugh; particularly the part where everyone was running around looking for Jeremy… the Jedi! Too funny. Anyone looking for a light easy-going read will enjoy this story.

ReplyDeleteYeah, this one was really good for my mood... can't believe I read it in a day! Of course I had it with me all night... & day... LOL.
DeleteNice review! I definitely like to give my characters unique names. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks...though even if I only came up with one truly unique name...that I love! *LEIATRA* That said, this story was heck-of fun.
