Mirror Mirror by Trista Jordan
Synopsis: Personal perspectives and journey of a celebrity make-up artist
Writing Style: Straightforward contemporary conversational
Pacing: Race Horse Fast
Personal Highlights: I selected this book because it looked fun, and cheeky and gossipy and easy on the eyes... all of which it was. Trista shares her experiences as a make-up artist, which includes tips, tricks and tools of the trade, along with cliff notes on clients she's worked with. I actually picked up one tip I think I might try... and the irony of the ending was not missed. Interestingly enough, the same behaviors that often engage and entertain, few might disagree are nonetheless some of the same behaviors we wish would stop. Mirror Mirror indeed came full circle. Overall, an enjoyable read.
