Unchartered by Chris Whipple
Synopsis: Clips of events leading up to the Trump 2024 WH win.
Writing Style: Memoirish. Tabloid-esk. Commercial.
Pacing: Fast.
Personal Highlights: Picked up this book on whim and was sucked right in; starting with the reporting of Ivanka and Jared requesting a meeting. The coverage of this meeting, and the political landscape leading up to the 2024 White House run...and win...read fair enough. In a back and forth quick and sharp paced tabloid rhythm Whipple's point of view is clear and the book overall interesting. There were even a number of revelations. Panetta’s quote seemingly summed up this period of time best albeit. Definitely readable. Read Hardcopy 2025 copyright edition.
