You Should Sit Down for This by Tamera Mowry-Housley

Synopsis:
Testimonies of a Child Actress/Adult Celebrity.

Writing Style: Soft. Warm. Engaging. Genuine.

Pacing: SUPER FAST!!!

Personal Highlights: From the get go …perhaps based on her performances in the Hallmark movies and Cupcake Wars’ episode, along with the book cover itself… I anticipated an easy on the eyes, ultra upbeat read.

Confirmed in almost one sitting my time was not wasted! This is a short read. The writing is pleasant; pacing fast, splashes of humor and reality on open display, and enough moving stories to compliment and soften its self-help feel. Favorite spots; the double-Dutch story, that horse run episode, going skiing (…oh I so related), ‘the Real’ deal, and the way she met Adam! Big applause there. Great job.

Overall, the experiences Tamera lends is warm, tendered with plenty practical dating insights and advice. True. Fakes attract fakes, which speaking of, the piñata and the Ugly/Goofy letter were moving subjects, albeit complex onions worth peeling to explore. In summary, young people, or anyone looking to, or ‘loving who they see in the mirror’ will find value in reading this testimony. Just beautiful. Highly recommended.
