"If you can write, that's great. If you can tell a story, that's even greater. But if you can work a resilient premise into both, you're worth digging to find."

The Upper Room by Mary Monroe

Novel, (Epic)Storytelling in its finest hour, and in all of its glory. Inclusive of a great cast of characters moved by great bodies of rich autistic dialogue, it won't take long to find this story is steeped in gripping writing. And don't let Mama Ruby's shocking character dissuade you from catching a wonderfully powerful premise either. Captivating, suspenseful, very humorous, and sad, but a page-turner 'sho nuff!
